Pohlman Cattle Company began with the marriage of Scott Pohlman and Moriah Olson in 1999. They met through their involvement in National Junior Angus Association activities and participation on opposing meat judging teams in college. Both were raised on family owned Registered Angus farming and ranching operations. Moriah’s parents, Steve and Ginger Olson, operate Olson Land & Cattle near Hereford, TX raising purebred and commercial Angus cattle. Scott’s parents, Chuck and Linda Pohlman, of Pohlman Angus Farm near Norfolk, NE marketed Angus seedstock to cattleman from 1970 until their dispersal in the fall of 2013. Both Scott and Moriah feel blessed to have been raised in Christian homes involved in production agriculture. Their primary objective is raising their two sons, Cutter and Colter (whom their brand represents) in the same values.
